Synthetic biology will offer a world of possibilities. One of these is resurrecting extinct animals. This animation paints a picture of what could happen if the Dodo were to be resurrected. The animation is the result of the Rathenau Instituut's ongoing work of bringing synthetic biology into public and political debate.
I had a lot of fun using my own voice to create a Dodo sound which was convincing and also contained the emotions needed for the animation.
